Daine Jordan can provide piano music that is custom tailored to just how you like it and add a truly unique and personal touch to your wedding.

After playing dozens of weddings over the past decade, I’ve started to realize that there’s many things we want to consider in order to make the wedding music process as smooth as possible. With planning a wedding you’ve already got a lot on your plate. That’s why I created this questionnaire, so we can think about and gather all the information we need in one place and you won’t have to think about it again going forward.

SONG SELECTION

Now let’s talk about the fun part, song selection! Typically a wedding ceremony has 3 songs, one for the wedding party, one for the bride, and one for the recession.

You can choose just about any song* and I will personally craft it to work specifically for your wedding, and make it sound beautiful to walk down the aisle to.

Let’s start with the 3 songs, if you want to request more songs you can specify below. Please include the song name and artist, and afterwards who in the ceremony will be walking during that song.

You can use my repertoire list (hyperlink, will create later) for ideas. You can also simply put “any song” if you don’t have anything particular in mind and want me to choose.

(Note, you can skip this section and come back to it later if you wish, but it must be completed 2 weeks before the wedding to avoid extra charge.)

Wedding Rehearsal Information

One thing many forget to consider when hiring musicians for a wedding is the wedding rehearsal. While it is not typically required for me to be there for the rehearsal, since the info on song choice and who is walking with each song gives me most of the info I need. The rest I can tailor the timing of all the music both from cues of watching the ceremony as well as the wedding coordinator (if there is one) as it’s happening to make it fit just right with your ceremony.

However, there have been scenarios of more complicated ceremonies, with many song choices and many people walking down. In that scenario, I’d highly recommend a rehearsal with the musician. Many times it’s just about communicating to get both the musicians and those in the ceremony on the same page (as well as a little bit of rehearsal!). This will make absolutely sure everything is just right and goes smoothly.

I’ll always try to mix it up, and have some moments with upbeat energy and some more classy and laid back, but always matching the vibe of the event. That being said If you have any special requests for musical genre, style, or song requests*, you can let me know below. Alternatively, you can simply hit “no special requests” below if you don’t have anything particular in mind and I’ll play a mixture of great songs that fit the vibe.
